instructions for art prep work
alrights. i know lots of people have problems doing yr art prep work cos u oviously either didnt listen when mrs manning was speaking or u jst plain didnt understand it. anyways. here's a guide on how to go abt doing it. hope u understand. (:
page 1: draw the interior of the veggie u are drawing. eg. the rough texture of the veggie, seeds etc. the more designs u draw the better! u will knw why later on. (: DO NOT DRAW THE EXTERIOR OF THE VEGGIE.
page 2: draw two 20cm by 20cm boxes and use the designs u drew earlier on and use them to make patterns in the boxes. it is prefered to fill up as much space as u can. try not to leave spaces.
page 3: do the same as page 2.
page 4: it is almost the same as step 2. except this time, draw only one 20cm by 20cm box
note:
- u may only use 3 colours. it is optimal to use colours tht when mixed together, produces another colour.
- DO NOT under any circumstances, try to use white/black to create different shades, UNLESS white/black is one of your 3 colours.
- u may use different sets of 3 colours to paint each 20cm by 20cm box for your prep work.
- please take note tht u are only required to do 2 out of 5 on the exam day.
- u will need a total of 2 drawing blocks for this exercise.
- please take note tht only sec sch A3 drawing blocks will be accepted. pri sch and sec sch A3 size drawing blocks DO HAVE a difference in sizes. obviously, sec sch A3 size drawing block is bigger thn a pri sch one.
- it is optional to use one design for one box. which is why, the more designs u draw on the first page, the more room there is for creativity! however, u may also choose to use one standard design for all the boxes.
